Arno Skalski & Steven Watchorn Promoted to Principal

CBI would like to announce some very exciting new promotions to start 2020 off strong:

Arno Skalski has 30 years of experience in the building design, engineering and construction industry, with emphasis in Building Envelope Consulting, and has been with CBI for almost 6 years. He has earned the accolades of being a LEED Accredited Professional and Associate AIA member, as well as a member of the International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants (IIBEC) and Building Commissioning (BCxA). He has worked for many governmental and institutional clients, such as the State of Massachusetts (DCAMM and MassDOT), Massachusetts School Board Authority, University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Harvard University, Department of Housing and Community Development and the Boston Housing Authority, as well as several private multi-family residential properties in and around the Greater Boston area.

Steven Watchorn has 20+ years of experience specializing in historic restoration, school design, and additions and renovations to existing buildings. He is a Registered Architect as well as a LEED Accredited Professional. Early in his career, Steven worked for both private architecture firms as well as public and non-profit planning organizations. While his attention has always been on detail, his planning background helped set a foundation on the importance of keeping focus on the big picture. He has worked on award-winning historic renovations projects, such as the US Customs House in Barnstable, Massachusetts. He manages and delivers projects with strong client-focus such as On-Call “House Doctor” contracts across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
