THE CHALLENGE
Design a glass and steel canopy for a luxury high-rise condominium building in downtown Boston.
CBI’S SOLUTION
Extensive computer analysis was required to model the unique geometry of the canopy which sloped to resemble a wave. CBI designed the custom steel connections to meet site conditions and analyzed the triangular glass pieces for code wind and snow loads.
