CBI performed a complete exterior evaluation to determine the integrity of the exposed aggregate precast panels as well as a structural review of the precast system.

CBI reviewed the sealants between panels and tested for corrosion of the steel reinforcing as well as the absorbency of the panel surface, with estimates for repair.

The project involved the preparation of contract documents, bidding and contract administration of the exposed aggregate concrete repair, complete sealant replacement, introduction of new soft joints, opaque coating, and clear sealing of the entire building exterior.

CBI also provided architectural design services associated with the review of the existing waterproof membrane and plaza overburden. The scope of work included designing repair options for plaza waterproofing and handicap accessibility upgrades.
